Hue Shortcuts (the "app") is provided by Stu McNeill (the "author"). This document details information stored and collected by the app.

The author reserves the right to make changes to this policy at any time.

Information collected by the app

Installation data

The Google Play store collects basic device data when the app is installed. Visit https://policies.google.com/privacy for details.

Configuration data

All configuration data generated by the app is stored in a file that is not accessible by other apps and does not leave your device.

Button press data

If the Button Detection feature is enabled the app runs in the background as an Accessibility Service. This allows the app to read hardware button presses to trigger events configured within the app.

On-screen keyboard usage is not detected.

Any hardware button press that is not explicity configured within the app is ignored and not collected in any way.

Analytics data

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect app usage data. Visit https://firebase.google.com/policies/analytics for details.

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect app crash data. Visit https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy/ for details.

Certain app events collect non-identifying configuration data. No personally identifiable information (PII) or data specific to your Philips Hue system collected.

How your information is used

The analytics data collected is accessible only by the app author. It is not shared or sold to any third parties.
